From an interesting story to poems and plays, Storyworks and Time magazines are top notch! These magazines achieve this by engaging with contemporary issues, addressing real-world challenges, and exploring significant historical events.
Creative expression through Readers Theater (students are always excited to get a part), enable students to connect with texts from a character-driven perspective.
Students learn about historical figures and important events all in the play!
By having these magazines in the classroom, my students would have access to a variety of differentiated texts on a regular basis, which they can engage with independently, collaboratively with peers, or at home with their families.
