My Project
Our kindergarten classroom is focused on teaching students the joys of reading. We tell classic stories and recite nursery rhymes to aid their language development and help them grow in a love of reading. This exposure to literacy also help them develop their imaginations, and gives them a chance to learn without screens. These stories, such as Goldilocks and The Little Engine that Could, are told by the teacher, and then the felt items can be placed into the learning area for students to retell the story they just heard. This is excellent for their creativity as well as their oral language development! We would be so grateful for your help!
