My Students
Everyone loves to hear a good story. Our class needs interactive and engaging storytelling sets to help build language and comprehension skills and to encourage a lifelong love of reading and stories.
Our class is a joyful prekindergarten class in a wonderful school in the heart of Texas.
The school serves a very diverse population with students from ethnic backgrounds found all over the world. In our class alone there are five different home languages. The school also qualifies as a Title 1 school and serves many children from a low socioeconomic background.
My Project
We would like books and stuffed characters and puppets from "The Three Bears," "The Three Billy Goats Gruff," "The Three Little Pigs," "Corduroy" and "The Jacket I Wear in the Snow." All of these books are well-loved and well-respected books for children.

These storytelling sets will provide ample opportunities for my students to practice valuable language and comprehension skills, but, most importantly, they will foster a love of reading and books that will enrich my students' lives.
