My Project
To elevate student engagement, a tablet will not only be able to track student progress and behavior but also elevate innovation in the classroom to encourage students to master media literacy. Such as the use of Google Classroom, pHet simulations, plickers, genial.ly, wipebook, and other interactive learning apps and sites, but this requires a device that can support and provide these items.
A tablet would be effective in displaying how to access these tools, especially in chemistry and physics classes where topics are abstract for students to master, and presenting these simulations would be extremely helpful for visual and hands-on learners.
It is essential to expose students to various platforms and develop their media literacy in the classroom, especially with students who may not have the opportunity at home. This is essential in the day and age where AI is available and we must prepare our students to use tools appropriately. To prepare our students for their future endeavors, especially in mastering media literacy, this will require students to have access to the appropriate toolbox.
