Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I have the pleasure of teaching 6th and 7th grade math. My students are special because they all show how much they want to learn. They strive to use technology to learn more. They ask questions constantly and strive to understand how the math we do will he used in the real world. My students work hard despite their financial, technology and home struggles. These students want to make sure their future is bright and are willing to work hard to improve their lives.
My Project
This will change my classrooms in so many ways. Imagine working on a computer with no battery life that must be plugged in at all times. Now imagine that computer has to be taken to different classrooms and students have to wait for the computer to start every class. An up to date computer will allow me to create new, immersive lessons for my students. We will not have to wait for long load times and out of date software to launch. Students will now be able to see lessons and tasks in real time while still getting small group and one on one instruction.
