Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students thrive in creative learning environments where they feel safe, valued and have student choice. The new flexible seating will create a vibrant space, different from the traditional classrooms within our 10 period day. The hygiene products will ensure basic needs are met and the cleaning products will provide a safe, clean space for all to learn, especially during the winter months when cold season arrives. Our classroom often feels like a second home.

My teenage students have a range of learning styles, but also learning disabilities that can make reading and writing a big challenge.

My students work hard all year to bring their reading levels up and improve their skills, which positively impact all other classes.

Help me give my students an exceptional 9th grade experience and a classroom teen haven they can look forward to each day. A space where they learn the love of reading and the power strong reading skills provide as they complete their freshman year.
