Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a very excited, first year teacher! My students come from low income families and they are unable to provide the learning materials that we need. I want to make learning fun and engaging for them.
My classroom is filled with many different types of kids from many different backgrounds and nationalities, that is what I love about them.
They are kind, polite and excited learners. They always have a book in their hands and really enjoy reading funny picture books as a class!
My Project
The Educational Insights Hot Dots are more exciting and interactive; The students love being able to see the Pete the Cat pens light up when they get a question correct! I love seeing the kids faces light up when they get a question right.
The Educational Insights Hot Dots allow the students to use technology and limit the amount of worksheets they do.
The Hot Dots will be used during Reading and Math centers as engaging activities. The Iris photo keepers will be used for other hands-on activities and tasks that the students will do as well as the pencils. Always a must-have in Kinder!!
