This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are motivated learners who come to school each day with a smile. They are enthusiastic learners who are always ready to learn something new. I'd like to add technological resources to the classroom to enhance and integrate technology in the daily learning of my students. An iPad and Apple pencil would be a great addition to our class so students can practice letter formation on a printing app and better work through our district platforms. As students use our classroom Promethean interactive board daily, I'd love to give them access to the iPad to sync and share their work on the interactive board. They’d be able to show their work and highlight key ideas on the iPad all the while reflecting it on the interactive board for all to see. Exposing my students to these technological resources (ipad, Apple Pencil) they will have the knowledge on how to apply the skills using them as they go through each grade level.
