My 19 amazing students come to school every day ready and eager to learn. They teach me just as much as I teach them. They are the sweetest kids with so much love. Our school is a Title I school with 38% free and reduced lunch rates.
My goal as a facilitator is to teach each child life long lessons as well as creating a good foundation of skills they will be able to use their entire life.
Along with being life long learners I also would like to equip them with knowledge in technology.
My Project
Students will be using the iPad and Osmos during center time. I would like at least one center based around technology to engage the students in their learning. Not only would I use the iPad in centers but I would also use them to supplement or help those that need extra skill help in math and reading. There are great programs like Zearn and Epic to help kids become expert learners at their pace.

The iPad will serve as a relational, communicative, documentation, informational, and finally, an observational tool that could support child-led learning.
