My Students
First graders improve so much in one year. They need a lot of practice to develop their skills. So much of first grade is spent learning how to be a responsible student. Using technology in the classroom is engaging and motivating for students.
Students learn best by doing!
Allowing students to interact with the lesson will boost their academic results.
My students have a wide range of needs. Some first graders come in already reading and some are still learning their alphabet.
My Project
Technology is becoming increasingly more important in the classroom. During Covid times, I was able to enhance my technology skills and want to include its usage throughout instruction. The iPad case will allow me to walk around the room and use my iPad strapped to my hand. This will make its usage easier and more frequent.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
The stylist pen will allow students to interact with my iPad as we annotate math samples and display student work using the airplay feature on the teacher's iPad. This has a huge impact on student learning and engagement.
The headphones will replace headphones as they break because first graders are well, first graders.
