My Students

Remember your curiosity as a child? Wasn't it an amazing feeling to discover and learn new things? These are the things my students in class are experiencing each day. Learning comes alive for them and they discover new ideas that they can share with each other, their family, and their friends.

My classroom is filled with curious gifted and talented students who love presenting information in new and creative ways.

They are innovative, creative, and highly motivated students when it comes to learning. My students enjoy researching and preparing presentations in a variety of formats and I want to expand their horizons by giving them an opportunity to raise the bar and present to an audience, be able to analyze themselves, and make lasting improvements in their presentation skills. Having these resources will help students be more confident and prepared to meet the challenges in the future!

My Project

Students are already presenting information in a variety of different formats, but I'd like to expand their exposure to live presentations while being recorded. The tablet, tripod, and microphone are far more effective than what I can do with our current technology. With these new materials my students will learn how to use new technology, learn how to video and audio record, as well as have the opportunity to analyze their own presentations and implement new 21st century skills in future presentations.

These resources will help students analyze their presentations helping them to improve their speaking and listening skills as well as presentation formatting.

I will be able to share video files more effectively with families and community members. The impact will reach far beyond my classroom walls and into the hands of parents, community members, and colleagues.
