My students need iPads for small group work and additional technology in the classroom

My Students
For a group of high-achieving students, many see them just as "smart" but they work hard for that label, and they work like you wouldn't believe. My students are Gifted and Talented students in Urban Houston, fighting poverty and flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey in an area hit hard by flood releases from the Addicks and Barker Reservoir. These students need materials to be the leaders of tomorrow, and they come from all backgrounds and are incredibly diverse racially, socioeconomically and with the languages spoken.
My Project
This project is for iPads that will be used in the following ways:
1.
Students have access to Reflex Math a fact fluency program that they can improve their multiplication and division skills.
2. Brainpop, an educational website where students can learn concepts about Mathematics and Social Studies.
3. Plickers are an online system of data collection in which students can hold up cards to answer questions and these iPads have the capabilities to scan and process this.
Having 4 iPads would greatly help not only these three systems but a number of others that this will give us easy access to for small groups as an effective station. This technology is so easily attainable and quickly accessible that it will decrease transition times and increase learning times.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
