Help me give my students the opportunity to have technology at their fingertips.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a low-income/high poverty, urban school district. They are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom, including emotional trauma, a high mobility rate, and many other special needs. Many of them are being raised in single-parent households and ninety-nine percent receive a free lunch and breakfast. My students are seventy percent Hispanic and thirty percent African-American. The majority of my students are far below the national and state standards in reading and math.
Our school is very limited when it comes to distributing resources.
We would like to do more to provide our children with the supplies they need, but our school budget crisis makes this difficult.
My Project
When my students ask a question or are interested in learning something new, I love to say, "Let's look it up!" With these two Chrome books, there will be more tools in my classroom for students to look up their questions. This generation of students need to know how to research and effectively use technology. These Chrome books will help them be ready to do that! My students will also be able to get on all the websites our school is subscribed to.
Please help move my classroom further into the 21st Century and support my students' learning.
Through your generosity you will help my students have easy access to the technology they deserve!
