My Students
My scholars love learning! Allowing them to learn at their own pace is so critical at this young age. With the many learning levels that we have in our class and the individual needs of every student it is my goal to do everything I can to meet all of their needs. 100% of the kids in my school receive free and reduced lunches and come from homes with very little resources. Many of these kiddos have also experienced trauma or homelessness, and the most stable time of their day is the time they are at school. I want to make our classroom environment one in which they can thrive, feel safe and secure and reach their full potential!

My Project
This year our school will begin transitioning to an inquiry model, where students will be given the opportunity to wonder and explore the topics they are curious about. My scholars love independently exploring topics they are interested in and I can't wait to see how much they achieve this year with our new model!
With the addition of another iPad, protective cases and Osmo Genious Kits I can truly allow my scholars to explore and learn independently or collaboratively in small groups.
The Osmo Kits can be used in many content areas, ELA, Math and Science and can provide another opportunity for independent practice especially with their phonics and word building skills.
