My Project
Most of my students are from low-income families and struggle in Math. They are first through fifth graders that come to me for math intervention. Each one has special needs that I try to meet during their short time with me. They work hard and are making some progress. It is helpful for me to work with 1 or 2 students while the others practice other math skills online and then we switch groups halfway through class. I have six students in my groups and need 3 students to work online at one time. We only have 2 Chromebooks and that causes a problem. They love working on our math learning programs online and I get great data to help guide their instruction. Getting an additional Chromebook would help my students get as much help in closing those covid gaps so they can be successful learners.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
