My Project
The iPad will support my students by encouraging engagement through the usage of interactive teaching. Using the iPad to support my instruction while teaching, using it as a tool to translate during the lesson or during conferencing with students. I intend to use the device as a resource to communicate with my students as well as to promote active and immediate engagement throughout the lesson. I want to be able to give students feedback immediately, have students reflect on their work and the work of others while engaging in the lesson. I will use the device to communicate with my ELL population and better understand their needs.
My students are diverse learners and individuals.
They all have different needs and are at different levels of learning. Being able to use the iPad and various applications to support their learning will help tremendously. I intend to use the device to show and display effective classwork and to share examples of work from other students, highlighting students work in a positive way.
