This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school does not have sufficient funds to get each classroom a color printer. My Special Needs students need a color printer for science and math in order to better process information. My students need more visual aids and color helps them visualize and understand the material much better. If I am unable to print color copies elsewhere, I print out black and white copies, and we color them so that my students can better visualize the information.
This project will help my Special Needs students continue to explore science and math and be able to print visuals with color so they can better understand and process the information they are looking at.
Special Education students need to be included, and a big component to help them succeed is visual accommodations. Color visuals help students to process and understand what they are looking at. This project consists of a color printer because I feel this printer will support my students' and my classroom's needs. I appreciate any support to make this project come to life.
