My Students

I teach 27 first graders. In my classroom I like to provide my students with a variety of learning experiences to provide them opportunities to ensure academic success. Our district has the slogan "college and career ready." That is exactly what I am preparing my students to be. Academic success looks different for every student. I work with each student during whole group and small group instruction to help them develop the necessary skills in order to achieve their goals that will lead them to academic success.

My students are looking forward to using more technology throughout their learning experience.

All of my students practice the skills they learned during our whole group instruction by using various reading and math programs on their ipads. Each day my students enjoy being able to demonstrate their knowledge in a different way, by using technology.

Most of my students are looking forward to learning through technology at school and at home. They also look forward to different forms of learning. It helps make things new and exciting!

My Project

The learning tools I am requesting are already being implemented in my class. In other words, I know exactly how it will work in my classroom. We just need your help in getting enough resources in order to make it that more effective! The headphones will be carefully placed in my classroom library with their corresponding ipad. Where students will be able to easily access them and comfortably enjoy their learning experience.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' love for learning and support them on their road to success.

By implementing technology more in my classroom, they will be able to have a even more individualized learning experience. We will use these materials to support students as they are striving to become fluent readers. As the teacher, I have seen a lot of student progress by providing my students the opportunity to learn in different ways. However I need your help in order to make this a reality. Thanks!
