Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 , inquisitive 5th-grade gifted students who have many different ethnic backgrounds. Being located in South Florida creates a "melting pot" group of diversity.
Their backgrounds are diverse, learning styles are different, and levels are diversified; what more can you ask for?
Each and every one of my students has the inner drive and the same eagerness to absorb as much learning and information as possible, taking into account they all have diverse learning styles and the challenges of our virtual learning.
Within my 24 gifted students are many varying cultures, lifestyles, and even languages, which is why we have such a large ELL group.
My Project
We are so excited to complete the ability to learn with students both in the classroom physically and those virtually. The laptop and monitor will enable each child to feel part of the real learning experience and a member of the class.
Having the monitors, laptop and keyboard will keep giving us the opportunity to work together in groups regardless of our location.
It is so important for the students to interact with one another in small groups to learn from one another and have the social aspect that we all crave for in these trying times.
