My Project

My second graders are incredible. You know, many of them haven't had a chance to see much beyond our little corner of Oʻahu. But I see so much potential in them. That's why I'm so excited about these laptops and tools. Imagine: a charging cart means those laptops are always ready, always powered up. For my kids, that's like opening a window to the world.

Instead of just reading from a textbook, they'll be exploring interactive stories online, using handheld flashlights to really grasp the words.

Math won't be just worksheets; it'll be fun, engaging games that make them excited to learn. I'm setting up smart sheets at their tables, using anchor chart holders, so everything is organized and clear. It’s about creating a space where they feel supported and can focus.

I'm going to make sure transitions are smooth, so we can spend more time learning. Every minute they're online is a chance for them to discover something new, to build skills they'll use for the rest of their lives. These tools aren't just gadgets to me; they're the keys to unlocking their potential. I want my second graders to dream big, to know that they can achieve anything. And with these tools, I know they will.
