it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is working on a project about theater and cinema. We are a bilingual classroom working on different scenes and we would like to work on a film for the end of the year to develop their communication skills. Also we need a laptop to work in the classroom.
My school is a small school with low resources.
I have 20 students at risk that are improving day by day. They are doing great and we started with Columbus making a small video. And we did a show in the Kinder classrooms and they enjoyed and learn about Columbus in a different way.
My Project
They will have a MacBook Air laptop to work on reading activities like iStation and Accelerated Readers. Also, they will be in charge of editing the movies we record with our theater plots. They will select, change, and direct their own acts by learning how to produce good films.
The students will improve their computer skills while they are checking for their mistakes and editing the plot in the computer.
This project is in company of a communication project with the plots. Also It will help us work in the classroom in reading activities.
