This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is affected by the coronavirus pandemic in so many ways. First of all, the students are not receiving a hands on approach to learning. Never did I think that when I dismissed my students on March 13th, that would have been the last time I would be able to hug them goodbye for the last time this school year. Secondly, a few of my students have yet to connection online due to lack of technology. This project will allow students to take part in my remote learning classroom.

My Project

Look beyond the classroom in today's educational world. With this HP Chromebook in our virtual classroom would be great for my first grade students. Some students find it difficult to manage with the out-dated devices or no devices through Remote Learning. My students need to focus on their technology session whether it be with Remote Learning or Blended Learning. Using these devices will allow for students to be engaged through the use of technology and center their attention to their online sessions. Students will use the virtual library resources to research and enhance their reading skills, hands-on science experiments, and connections to our reading program.

Giving low-income students the ability to use technology during Remote Learning is an investment in their future.

My virtual classroom full of first graders will be better with the HP Chromebook for individual online sessions. Students will enjoy learning, reading, and writing while focusing and using the newest technology available to continue with Remote Learning.
