My students are 21st century learners and technology plays a big role in our daily practice of newly learned skills.
I am a first grade teacher in a low socio-economic public school district in Oklahoma.
I co-teach with my partner, she teaches reading and I teach math. Together, we have 38, six and seven year old students in our classroom. My students are very tech savvy and do well with the use of technology in the classroom.
My Project
My partner and I just received 4 iPad Air devices from federal funding. The devices did not come with protection. We want these devices to last a long time, but with out any type of protection, they will not last. We need protective cases to ensure these devices will last for years. We also have a Surface 2 that needs a protective case so the students can utilize it. We use these devices to practice newly learned math/language skills as well as Accelerated Reader testing and STAR testing.
By donating to our classroom project, you will allow access to 5 more technology devices that my students can use.
