This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are identified as having a learning disability and require individualized/group assistance. We are located in a district considered below the poverty level with an enormous amount of minority and bilingual students. Our school is located in New York. These students would benefit from the use of a laptop for specialized programs.
My Project
Our students would benefit from having access to this laptop. We can create individual slides and programs for each kid. We can set up accounts for different educational programs for the students. Without this laptop, students would not have access to technology and would not be able to use on-line resources.
Many of our students learn better with the use of technology in which they have access to interactive programs and videos that can help them to learn and develop.
I would get all my students into programs that are meant for them.
