This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us acquire a second language with the use of iPad minis!
Most children have the capacity to learn more than one language.
My goal for my 200 students is that they become bilingual and bi-literate by the end of their educational journey at our school.
My students attend an amazing charter school on the south-west side of Chicago. They are inquisitive, creative, and very dedicated students. They truly enjoy learning Spanish and are always putting forth great effort to achieve success. They enjoy practicing their Spanish by reading, writing, conversing and especially while playing games.
My Project
With the use of technology, my students will be able to achieve greater success with the Spanish language. I have requested two iPad minis for our Spanish classroom. We currently have a shortage of computers at our school. For some students, class time is the only opportunity to get exposure to technology. We will use the ipad minis to read audio books, play games that build Spanish vocabulary, and navigate the Internet for research.
My hard working students are very passionate about succeeding at Spanish.
