This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine a classroom where technology permeates the education of learners.
I am a gifted education teacher in a suburban school right outside of Atlanta.
I teach an Innovative Model Reading and Math class to gifted and accelerated students in third, fourth, and fifth grade. My goal for these classes is to challenge and enrich these students using thought provoking literature and problem solving strategies while increasing the use of technology.
My Project
Having access to an iPad will give my students the opportunity to expand their education beyond the walls of our classroom. It will also enhance how students use digital content, building on their interests and capabilities. My hope is to make learning more real and relevant to students who have never known a world without technology.
