Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help increase our exposure to technology! Our students have been building their technological experience using laptops and are becoming proficient using them; however, we they need exposure to modern technology such as iPads and other tablets.
Our students attend a title one school.
Many of the students receive free lunch and live in middle to low income households. Several house holds do not have working computers or Internet. In our classroom we work hard to expose students to things which they might not have accessible at home.
My Project
Our students show an enormous interest in becoming tech savvy. Their natural curiosity and ability allows them to use and maneuver around menus and programs that are installed in our laptops. The progress they have made is great, however our students need to start practicing and using modern technology such iPad and tablets since these devices are the becoming the new norm in technology.
This project is import to us because as careers and jobs become more and more technologically driven, it is important that students have experience using laptops, tablets, and other forms of technology.
It is vital that our students have knowledge on using these devices in order to prepare them for future careers.
