This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Inner city children need the help of those that have because they are part of the "have not" family.
My fourth grade class resides in a title one school in NY which falls squarely in the "have not" community.
My students are in a school that lacks technology. Without technology there is too little time to teach all that is necessary for them to be properly educated.
My students need an Elmo in the classroom. This will allow me to take pages from a book and post it on a large screen and lecture from it. The speed an Elmo grants would create an accelerated pace in the classroom.
Your help will ensure that my students will receive a comprehensive, all inclusive education unobtainable without technology.
