My students all come from different backgrounds and different types of families. Students come to me with different needs and different experiences. The dynamics of my school are constantly changing and the challenge is coming up with ideas to motivate the students to want to learn. Students need a different ways of learning in the classroom than traditional books and notebooks. I want to provide them with a variety of ways of learning and practicing their skills that they have learned.
My Project
Getting this project funded will allow my students to learn in a 21st century method without pulling money from the school or the parents. It will allow the students to be motivated to participate in centers and actually want to come to school! Students will want to participate in review activities throughout the stressful time period at the end of the year to help prepare them for the state tests by using this technology! The items I have requested are CD games of all types for 4th grade reading comprehension and math skills. The games have different focuses in terms of their strands to help students review and practice the strands needed. Students will build a love for learning through the kind donations to this project and will become lifelong learners! I will love to see my students motivated to learn through this project.
