My Students
This year is my first year teaching, and I have been blessed with an incredible group of students. Working as a Resource Teacher, I see a wide variety of children throughout my day ranging from kindergarteners to 8th graders.
Of the 12 students I work with, not one of them lacks an extra helping of quirkiness partnered with an intense desire to succeed.
Each and every one of my students is unique in their interests, abilities, and needs. As the year moves forward, we will continue to work on our weaknesses and celebrate our successes!
My Project
Technology has helped many people in many different ways and has proved to be extremely beneficial in the world of education. With my project, I plan to bring more technology into the classroom in hopes of allowing two special education students to be more involved in the general education curriculum.
Both of these students love to be with their peers and having access to these devices will allow them to do so.
I plan to download assistive reading apps and other tools to help these students access the curriculum their peers are studying. There are so many opportunities for these students to get involved and having these tablets will help them to experience these.
