Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Can you imagine trying to make learning interesting for a class filled with 23 curious and energetic first graders? It is no easy task when the material is monotonous and dull.
My students are facing many challenges, the main one being that they are LAUSD students.
Our district is facing a financial crisis for which my students are paying by lacking essential educational resources. These resources would undoubtedly enhance their learning experience. My first graders are enthusiastic, eager, and have a positive attitude towards learning regardless of the educational challenges they face.
My Project
I am requesting an LCD projector so I can present academic material in a more interesting and exciting way. An LCD projector will allow me to reach my students directly and make learning the center of attention. Since our school has no computer lab, the LCD projector will also allow me to access online information that I can share with the entire class by connecting my a laptop to it.
Technology plays an extremely important role in education now a days.
I want my students to have the opportunity to experience learning through technology so that they are able to function in our evolving society.
