This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school everyday excited to learn! They are inquisitive about the world around them. We strive to broaden their horizons and challenge their minds. We face many obstacles in our ICT classroom, from lack of classroom resources to wishing for those extra materials, that would take us to the next level in our educational journey, but we come together as a caring and responsible community, always mindful to respect each other.
We celebrate our differences while we learn and grow together.
My Project
The iPads would be utilized in various settings and times throughout our instructional time. We will use them during all subject areas. During math, they will be utilized for manipulatives (dice, base ten blocks, number line work, etc.) and math visual stories. We will also use them during Reading for small group work and partner work. They will be used to view interactive stories and practice phonics. For social studies and science, students will be able to actively research topics and content.
We live in a technological world and students need to be inspired to become future mathematicians, scientists and engineers.
These iPads will help us do this in class 1-229! Both, my special and general education students, will learn, grow and gain experience from this set of iPads!
