Technology is Not Just for Remote Learning!

My Students

My students are super second-grade students in a high-needs school district. They are excited about school and learning! Unfortunately, school budgets do not always make it possible for me to provide the materials and experiences to let my students soar.

My Project

Right now, we are realizing how important technology training and access to technology are for our students. Students of all ages are being required to use technology for all aspects of learning. In my classroom, we used Chromebooks to access materials for math and literacy learning daily. While we are remote learning, we use them to complete classwork, but also to connect with each other through video conferencing.

I want my students to be better prepared to use technology both in and out of the classroom.

Having another Chromebook to use with my students in the classroom will give more students access to technology for learning, differentiation, and independent projects. Using them in the classroom with me will also prepare them to jump easily into remote learning, if it is called for again.
