My Students

The second grade students in my room need your help! We are part of a high-poverty elementary school in WI. Our school is very diverse where 66% of our students are from low-income homes, 20% are English Language Learners and 12% are in special education.

My class is made up of 9 boys and 5 girls and half the class speaks another language in their home.

Right now, they are like sponges, soaking up all the knowledge they can, including English! So please help us reach our goal so we can buy nonfiction books!

My Project

I just started at a new school where a huge population of our students are English Language Learners and have special education needs. These students need their learning to be interactive and exciting and differentiated for their level. There are so many amazing programs that can be used on the iPads that will strengthen the skills of my students. Their learning will be interactive and meaningful with the incorporation of technology in the classroom.

By donating to our project, my students will be able to grow independently, feel success on their own and be interactive with their learning!
