Help me give my students computer, headphones, and speakers so they can have the technology they desire to keep them engaged in the learning process.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are an inner-city school that is surrounded by high poverty, crime, and low economic status. Most of the students live in a single-family household.
We have a high population of African American and Hispanic students in our school.
The Hispanic students are struggling to learn English. They are considered English Language Learners (ELL) and require additional instruction to learn the basics. The students are always eager to learn, respect authority and place a high value on education.
My Project
My second grade students are eager to learn, love to explore, and are very curious. The computer will be connected to a projector to enlarge material on the screen for students to view.
The computer will be used to enhance lessons in language, math, science and social science.
It will be used to access the internet and find activities that correlate with the curriculum. The students will actually enjoy learning new material while working on interactive activities.
Using our SmartBoard will allow students to touch the screen and identify correct answers, locate famous Americans, and complete science objectives, to name a few activities.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
