This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in Tiltle 1 school, where all my students are low income and they have suffered the Harvey devastation. I have 21 bilingual Pre-k students that love to come to school everyday.
Each of my students have different personalities but they all love and are eager to learn.
Sometimes my students need some support in order to show their true capabilities. I am working to increase the amount of technology in my classroom to give my students access to a variety of learning opportunities.
My Project
Every day, schools are becoming more and more technology based. Some of the assessments are given online. As a Pre-k teacher, it is my job to teach the foundations that they need to know so they succeed in school. I believe that students should be exposed to technology from the very beginning. These iPads will be used to learn through different apps language arts, math, science and social studies. With your help my students will be able to learn the skills that they need to succeed in Pre-k. This definitely will teach them that learning can be fun and exciting.
