My Students
My 1st graders are the best! They are learning so much each day and are so excited to come to school. I get non-stop hugs and smiles all day. I try and make our classroom an environment that everyone feels safe in. I absolutely adore my students and they are the reason I get up and want to come to school every day. I love watching them learn and grow. Teaching is hard and exhausting, especially when you teach 1st graders. Sometimes I feel like I am putting on a musical production/play all day long. But seeing them grow and the excitement in their eyes every day makes it all worth it!
My Project
Blended learning continues to grow as an approach to meeting learner needs, especially as schools put more computers and other devices into student hands. The growth of blended learning is generally paced at the comfort of teachers as they expand their use of digital tools for teaching and learning.
Blended learning that uses apps, games, or measurable programs to teach concepts allows students to engage the material at their own pace.
It can promote deeper learning, reduce stress, and increase student satisfaction. Teachers can become more engaged with their students
By incorporating technology into classroom instruction, teachers are freed up to reach more students. Teachers can move within the stations or activities to interact with individual or small groups of students and check on progress. Data provided by educational technology programs also empowers teachers with insights on each student’s learning so they can more effectively address gaps.
To continue using technology integrated blended learning, I need individual headphones to help each student succeed. Having their own headphones will allow them to work at their pace and hear what the program is asking them to do. It is so important that students learn at their own pace. Using technology and resources I can individualize the learning experience for each student!
