Help me give my students an iPad to explore digital laboratory simulations in the classroom!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Turner's classroom raised $491

My Students
My students are eager to learn about science concepts. They are curious to explore these science concepts in the real world. They value hands on learning. They enthusiastically explore science concepts during their lab investigations. They collaboratively work together in their groups to achieve their science goals. They work hard to make connections about what they are learning and exploring. They love to share their discoveries and explanations with the class.
My Project
This iPad for my classroom will add to our technology in the science classroom. My students use a digital science curriculum. They explore laboratory simulations on the computer. They work on these simulations at home and at school. They use them to test out science concepts they are learning. The laboratory simulations help them to visually explore the science concepts and make connections to the real world. As the students complete their explorations, they collect evidence to support their science claims. This iPad would also enable us to collect pictures of our evidence from our explorations. These pictures can then be posted on our bulletin board. If the students had this ability to visually show their evidence, they would be able to use more visuals in their explanations.
This would benefit the entire class because it would help them to make better connections with their evidence and the real world.
