This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I've had the chance to sample a NumWorks calculator and they are incredible! My students deserve the opportunity to have modern technology available to them as they work through their mathematical studies.
As a Title 1 school in a small town, students and staff work hand in hand to overcome obstacles and provide students with the skills and opportunities to succeed in a modern and global society.
With a classroom set of Numworks calculators, my students in Advanced Placement classes will have the best chance at not only mastering the concepts but also excelling on their AP exams to earn college credit!
Ideally, this classroom set will also encourage more students at the school to pursue advanced mathematics to open more doors for their future success.
