My Project

My students are eager children who love to use technology and the headphone will provide a personalized way for them to practice their Phonological awareness and Phonemic awareness without the pressure of hearing other sounds around them. Phonological awareness is the ability to recognize and manipulate the spoken parts of words, including syllables, onset–rime, and phonemes. As well as their Phonemic awareness is the ability to identify and manipulate individual sounds (phonemes) in spoken words. With my students being on different reading levels these headphones will help them feel secure in the work that they are doing that is specialized to their need.
