Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our school district during covid, every kindergartener was provided an iPad. Even though we have returned to school full-time.
We have now incorporated that technology time within our classrooms.
We are so grateful for this experience to allow our students to have access to technology. However, a majority of students cannot afford the headphones that are necessary to be able to use these iPads during class times for learning.
I’m asking for a set for every child in my classroom that way I know for sure that they all will be able to access the technology.
We use programs such as ST math to support our students in math and Lexia to support our students in reading literacy.
