My Students
Using paper and pencils is no long the way students learn.
Our school is a public school that serves all students.
My students are enthusiastic learners who are always eager to learn. They come from different social economical background. Not all of them have the privilege to have access to technology at home. In order to better prepare them for the 21st century, they deserve a chance to have access to technology as everyone.
My Project
To meet the need of my students' different learning styles, the Kindle Fire will provide various engaging activities for my students. Students are easier to navigate using a touch screen device rather than the computer. There are apps I can purchase for my students. My students can see the stroke orders of a character over and over again to increase their memory of the character. There are also apps that my students can use to practice their oral language.
Donations to this project will make a big difference in my students' life.
They will be more prepared for the new technology world. Students who are auditory learners will have more chances of using apps that will meet their needs. Students who are visual learners will use other apps to enhance their learning. The technology world really opens up opportunities for different learning styles.
