My Students
By the end of the school year I want my students to have met the promotional criteria for eighth grade students. The laptop in this project will be used on a daily basis during classroom instruction. It will be used as the laptop through information is displayed on the smart board.
My school is a title 1 school, most of our students come from homes that low economic status.
My students are like all children in their age group, they just lack in many of the basic necessities that are afforded to other children their age. Our students need more support in their education and as teachers we need to come in offering 110% of ourselves.
My Project
The technology offered at my school is not always reliable. It is very frustrating to be in the middle of a lesson and suddenly the laptop is not responding, which interrupts the powerpoint lesson. Almost all of our lessons are presented through Power Point or as a Prezi, having reliable technology is a key component to facilitate instruction.
Through the use of this laptop, I will be able to use it in all classrooms during instruction throughout the day.
My students will remain engaged and focused by not having interruptions in the lesson. Having this laptop will allow for easy access to the Internet where any topic can easily be explored.
