This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have two classes with a total of 32 students. I love how hard working each of my students are every day. In our class, we use computers for stations and for researching topics for writing. A lot of my students need headphones to be able to hear the directions from the computers and for the research websites to be able to read to them. In our class we only have a few headphones that actually work and so it can be hard to focus with all the computers having their volume on.

For the other supplies, we are always needing wipes to keep our classroom clean.

Especially, with the time of the year everyone getting sick! We can also really use the fidget pack for our calm down center. My students love to use this to take breaks and help calm them down. I love how they are using this has a strategy. Unfortunately, a-lot of our tools have broken, and we are in need of new things for the calm down area. I also put a lot of fidgets in our class treasure box as rewards for them, so that they can have them at home to continue using their strategy they practice at school.
