This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Have you ever had 25 little faces looking at you eagerly awaiting to see how you are going to make their learning interesting and exciting? I do, every day. I am about to start my 20th year as an educator, and I have learned that the most challenging aspect about my career is, keep the students engaged.
It's not about teaching the curriculum; it's about HOW we teach it!
As educators, we have to constantly adapt, evolve, and adjust to our students.
Technology plays an integral part in teaching now a days. As educators we are constantly integrating technology in our lessons. This is why I am in desperate need of a new computer so my students can maximize their learning.
My Project
The tools I am requesting for my class will not just supplement the materials I use for my everyday teaching. They are indispensable for my students to properly and adequately learn in a well-equipped classroom.
A computer is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
I use my computer to project whole group lessons, educational videos, science projects etc. A computer allows me to reach all my students at once and keep them engaged in my lessons.
I use my computer every day to introduce new concepts to the whole class, store data, and keep records of my students progress.
