Technology in Social Studies to differentiate instruction.
My students need four Galaxy 8 tablets and a case, so they explore American History from European explorations to the Civil War using different technological applications.

My Students
My students will use the Galaxy tablets to be more engage with explorations to America. Students usually do not find social students very interesting but with the tablets we can make social studies more interactive. Students will be able to explore different parts of the world.
My students are from an inner city school which is Title I.
They attend a school where 100% of the students are on free lunch and 40% of the students are homeless. My students are eager to learn and if we make if more interactive students can increase their knowledge of social studies.
My Project
My students will use the Galaxy tablets to explore the past through innovative applications. The students will then learn to bridge the gap of how the country has evolved. The students will also use the tablets to conduct research in order to develop their projects. The students scores are improving and this is one aspect that will increase state scores even more.
The Galaxy tablets will increase learning through innovative means.
The cover will assist in protecting our investment in the tablet. Our students will learn to explore the past with present applications. Our students will learn how to use technology to increase learning and make social studies more interactive.
