Technology in Science

My Students

My students are the entirety of our school. I serve all the students at our school in the discipline of science. My students come to me ready to learn, explore, and experiment to become critical thinkers.

Part of my school is Title I, which means they come from high poverty situations and may not have access to materials and resources at home.

Part of my school is Magnet, which means their parents may not live close by, but have chosen to send their child here because of the opportunities and experiences they can have as part of at our school.

My Project

Being tech savvy is one of the most important skills facing our students now. In order for our scholars to be ready for college and for the workforce in the 21st century, each child must be knowledgeable of technology. Having Chromebooks at the disposal of my students is very important to me. Computers are the single most important tool for success in the future.

My students need to learn to communicate effectively, create graphs, charts, presentations, and other applications.

The best time for them to learn how to utilize them is now! Please help us add another Chromebook to our classroom.
