This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Here at our school, we are a striving community. Our students are eager to learn and hardworking. We are a Title l school and 98% of our students are on free and reduced-price lunch. This is a challenge for our community, but our community is strong. Our students love and enjoy fun and exciting opportunities. Many of our students can not afford extracurricular programs after school, because of this I strive as their teacher to provide engaging, active and fun program opportunities for our community and my students.

My Project

Helping to donate towards this project will provide students with an opportunity to use technology in Physical Education. In PE students learn over 75 various lessons. Implementing this mobile projector will allow me as a teacher to provide students with videos that are related to the lesson. One example would be our track and field lesson, it would be great to show our students clips of the Rio Olympics in regards to what they will be learning and how it's related to the lesson. As learners, we learn in different ways, seeing, hearing, and feeling. This would be a great tool to enhance my classroom. Thanks.
