I work at a fabulous school located in Chesapeake, Va. It is a Title I school that offers students the ability to get ahead of their peers. My students are growing and learning just like I am as a teacher. We are a great team that is focused on what makes learning fun. My students are a gift each year and that's what makes school exciting! Giving the children all that they need is so important to their development. The resources that I'm asking for will further their education and experiences.
My Project
Technology is used every day in my classroom. My students enjoy using the Smart board, laptops, tablets, document camera, and desktops for every subject.
The three Amazon Fire HD 8 tablets would be used with my other two tablets as a tablet center.
I would download sight word games, reading apps, math apps, STEM apps, amongst other apps that are beneficial to my student's learning. The tablet center is quiet and engaging during reading and math groups. I can always count on my students to stay on the website because they enjoy using the tablets that I already have. The three additional tablets will help me make a nice tablet center.
