My classroom is a bustling place of constant learning. My students come in smiling and excited every day, ready to work hard and have fun while doing it!
We are special education classroom of 12 bright and eager to learn students.
My students have a mixed range of abilities, ranging from grade level to well below grade level and require specially designed instruction and grouping in all areas to meet their needs. Despite their range of abilities, high expectations are set for all my students, giving each of them the opportunity to learn and grow.
My Project
The materials that I am requesting for my students will provide them with a new way to learn! Technology is so important in world around us and using tablets in the classroom will help prepare my students for the future! The tablets will not only serve as a motivator for my students but also as necessary instructional tools. My students will be able to use the tablets to assist them in every subject area! From doing research for writing topics, to listening to audio books, to playing math games, tablets are a great way to incorporate technology into every lesson.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
The tablets will also help me to better manage groupings within my classroom, allowing me to focus on one specific group of students while still confident that the rest of my students are engaged and learning.
